Was Christ the Creator God?
Yes, Jesus Christ was the Creator God. He is the one who determined that it had to be the sacrificial death of Himself on our behalf. As He died on that cross, He was the Creator Himself, a member of the Godhead.
Les explains that Christ was the Creator God, and he recalls teaching this truth and seeing people aghast because they had never heard it before. When they asked if he was sure, he said he hoped so, having just seen it in recent weeks and needing to teach it. Soon another writer said the same thing, that Christ was the Creator, and since then he has seen it many times. He concludes that Jesus Christ, as He died on the cross, was the Creator Himself, a member of the Godhead. Les also notes Martin Luther struggled over Psalms 110:1, “The Lord said unto my Lord, Come sit at my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool,” until he exclaimed it was God crying out to God, because Christ is God.
