Was Jesus Christ the Creator in Genesis 1?

Yes. Jesus Christ is identified as the Creator God Himself, the Creator of Genesis 1. He is the One who spoke and the universe came into being, and the One who spoke and Adam came up out of the dust of the ground. He is therefore the Creator in Genesis 1.

Les explains that the Creator God Himself is Jesus Christ, identifying Him as the Creator of Genesis 1. He emphasizes that Jesus is the One who spoke and the universe came into being, and the One who spoke and Adam came up out of the dust of the ground. Les then connects this to Ephesians 1: God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, so that, coming down to man's level in man's frame of flesh, He could condemn the old Adam and the flesh.

Romans 8:3
