What is on the other side of the door of 'whosoever will may come'?
On the other side of the door marked 'whosoever will may come' is the truth that a person was chosen by an act of God from before the foundation of the world. The invitation and election appear contradictory, but both are God's truth. No one can choose unless God calls and elects them.
Les ties the question to the drawing he put on the board after the previous taping. As the human race moves down the river of time, there is a constant invitation to enter the door that says, 'whosoever will may come.' But when you go through that door, the other side is 'chosen from before the foundations of the world.' Les admits this is hard to reconcile, because one side says whosoever will may come while the other says you were chosen by an act of God. He cites a Bible scholar who said these things may sound contradictory, but if this is what God says, you believe it and leave it there; you do not argue or try to reconcile it. Les says do not lose sight of either truth. If you get too taken by either one, you are out in left field; reconcile both together. Every individual has the opportunity of choice, but they cannot choose unless God calls them and elects them.
