Are we in a predetermined position established by the triune God before creation?

Yes. A predetermined position was established by the counsel of the triune God before anything was ever created. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit came together in eternity past by a determinate agreeing of their three minds, and by that same triune counsel God placed each one, saying, 'I have a place waiting for you.'

Les teaches that way back in eternity past God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit came together, and by a determinate agreeing of their three minds they decided to create the universe and put planet earth and the human race on it. They knew in foreknowledge that the human race would fall in Adam, and in that predeterminate counsel one person of the triune God would have to be a Redeemer. Everything according to that predeterminate counsel of Acts chapter 2 brought the whole thing moving. Then, as a small part of that big picture, we come along. By the same kind of triune counsel - the same triune meeting of the minds - God put His finger on every one of us and said, 'I have a place waiting for you.' Les says that is where we are: in that predetermined position put there by the counsel of the triune God before anything was ever created. He acknowledges the argument that follows about election and free will, but the context affirms this predetermined position.
