Where did the triune God decide to put the human race?
In eternity past, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, by a determinate agreeing of their three minds, decided to create the universe and to place the human race on little old planet earth. They foreknew the fall in Adam and predetermined that one person of the triune God would become the Redeemer.
Les teaches that way back in eternity past God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit came together and by a determinate agreeing of their three minds decided to create the universe and to put the human race on planet earth. They knew in foreknowledge that the human race would fall in the man Adam, and they knew in that predeterminate counsel that one person of the triune God would have to be a Redeemer. That same triune counsel also applies individually: God put the finger on every one of us and said, “I have a place waiting for you,” placing us in that predetermined position by the counsel of the triune God before anything was ever created.
