Les Feldick Bible Study

Will people in eternity realize how much time has passed on earth?

No. Eternity is outside of time, so time is not relevant. Those in eternity will not realize how much earthly time has passed; even Adam, dead 6,000 years, will think only a moment elapsed. There haven't been that many years so far as they're concerned.

Les teaches that when we go from time to eternity, it is a whole different set of circumstances. Because eternity is out of time and time is not relevant, even though Adam has been dead 6,000 years, when all this takes place, Adam will think it was just that much time that had elapsed. He won't realize that 6,000 years has gone by. So when Les says that our loved ones in glory are not walking the streets of gold or singing hallelujahs because they are not in a body, he cautions, don't ask what they've been doing all these years. There haven't been that many years so far as they're concerned. That is another whole half hour. Then he returns to Romans chapter 8, the redemption of our body. The body has not experienced redemption; it is still under the curse. We all get sick, we get wounded, and if the Lord doesn't come, we are all going to die, because of the curse.
