Are most people aware that there is an eternity after death?
No. Most people are totally ignorant of an eternity to come and never consider that after this life ends—whether ten, eighty, or a hundred years—there is an eternity. When asked what happens after death, many say they have never thought about it, revealing they do not truly know what they are saying.
Les teaches that most people are just totally ignorant of an eternity to come. He tells of someone asking another person what will happen after they die, and the reply was, 'Going to hell I guess,' but they don't know what they're saying. Another person might say, 'Well, I've never thought about it,' and Les thinks that's where most people are. They never consider that after this life ends—whether it's 10 years or 80 or 100—there's an eternity. Everyone will live in eternity someplace, either in God's presence or out of His presence.
