Where is a believer's citizenship?

According to Philippians 3:20, a believer's citizenship is in heaven. Paul writes that our conversation, or citizenship, is in heaven, and as believers we are already citizens there. From that same heaven we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Les explains from Philippians 3:20-21 that Paul writes, “our conversation, our citizenship, is in heaven,” and as a believer we are already citizens up there. From that same heaven we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall change our vile body that it may be fashioned like unto His glorious body, according to the working whereby He is able even to subdue all things unto Himself. Les also points out that never in all of Scripture does the human being operate without a body; the soul and spirit by itself does not operate as an entity but has to have a body.
