Les Feldick Bible Study

How can I use Scripture to lead someone who is seeking salvation?

Scripture, especially Romans, can be used to show a seeking person that salvation comes by genuine faith in the Gospel, not by an emotional high or a prescribed set of rules. Walking them through those verses lets them see from the Word how to know they are saved.

Les teaches that since we are justified by faith, God can come back and say there is now no condemnation. He qualifies eternal security carefully: it is not for a haphazard church member who walked an aisle or joined a church, but for someone who has had a genuine faith in the Gospel and a genuine salvation experience. When a person worries they have never had a great experience, a white light, or a tremendous emotional upheaval, Les points out that Scripture does not require an emotional high or a prescribed set of rules. In his classes he went through verses in Romans to show people from Scripture how to know they are saved and how to lead someone who is seeking, and he repeated that study because it was so well received.
