Who does Les say Jesus really is?

Jesus is not merely another prophet or one name among the gods. He is the Lord Jesus, the eternal creator God of the universe, the very author and finisher of our faith, the Messiah and Christ, the one in whom believers are intricately involved and who is all in all.

Les warns that in our day, especially New Age people, many are reducing Christ to nothing more than just another prophet, just another name among the gods. He says we must be careful never to be taken in by such theology or teaching, and never lose sight of the fact that the Lord Jesus whom we serve, the Lord Jesus who is the very author and finisher of our faith, is the eternal creator God of the universe. Les says he will never stop emphasizing that. The context also identifies Him as the Messiah, the Christ, the one with whom we are intricately involved, and Christ as the all in all, leading into Colossians chapter 1, verse 15.

Colossians 1:15

Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:

Who is the Lord Jesus Christ according to Les?

The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal creator God of the universe, the Messiah, the Christ, who came in the flesh, is overall blessed of God forever, and is the very author and finisher of our faith. He is the all in all, the one with whom believers are intricately involved.
