Who does Les think was the greatest human being other than Jesus?
The Apostle Paul was the greatest human being who ever lived, other than Christ Himself. He is viewed as even overshadowing Moses, as great as Moses was. This assessment comes as an introduction to Paul’s letters and the study of Romans.
Les explains that in introducing Paul’s letters, he has said over and over that he thinks Paul was the greatest human being who ever lived, other than Christ Himself. He suggests Paul probably even overshadows Moses, as great as Moses was. This sets up his introduction to the Book of Romans, and he notes Jesus’ earthly ministry in Matthew chapter 11 as part of that preparation.
