How many different nations have Jews in Israel come from, according to Les?
At one time it was documented that Jews living in Israel had come from 133 different sovereign nations of the world. They have been driven everywhere and continue coming home, though some nations, like Albania, no longer have any Jewish citizens remaining.
Les teaches that God's promise in Deuteronomy to regather Israel from all the nations where He had scattered them has been visibly fulfilled in our own generation. He points out that he has stated more than once on the program that it was documented there were Jews then living in Israel who had come from 133 different sovereign nations in the world. They had been driven everywhere, yet they keep coming home. Les also notes the reverse trend: some nations no longer have a single Jew among their citizenry, and he cites Albania as one of the later ones, a little nation across the sea from Italy. Only a few hundred Jews remain in Syria, and many nations have hardly any left, while the main two with large numbers are Russia and America.
