Which forefathers does Les list as belonging to the nation of Israel?

The forefathers of Israel include Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the twelve patriarchs, then Joshua, Samuel, the judges, Gideon, Samson, King David, Solomon, and the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. All these pertain to the forefathers of this little nation of Israel.

Les explains that verse 5 asks, “whose are the fathers?” The first thought when speaking of the fathers is the forefathers of the nation of Israel. He lists Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the twelve patriarchs, then Joshua, Samuel, the judges, Gideon, Samson, King David, Solomon, and the prophets Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel. Les ties these to the Israelites, the nation of Israel, to whom the covenants, the giving of the law, and the promises were given, and says all those things pertain to the forefathers of this little nation of Israel.

Romans 9:5

Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.

Does the list of Israel's fathers include the judges, kings, and prophets too?

Yes. The forefathers of Israel begin with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the twelve patriarchs, but the list continues to Joshua, Samuel, the judges such as Gideon and Samson, then kings David and Solomon, and prophets including Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and Daniel.
