What did Peter say to the people of Israel in the early chapters of Acts?

Peter addressed the people of Israel as “ye children of Israel” and “ye men of Israel.” He pleaded with them to respond to the fact that the one they crucified was their Messiah. Some believed, but the nation for the most part rejected his message.

Les explains that even after the crucifixion, in the early chapters of Acts, Peter addresses Israel as “oh, ye children of Israel, ye men of Israel.” Peter pleads with them to respond to the fact that the one they crucified was their Messiah. But Israel would not believe it nationally; some did, but for the most part the nation rejected it. Les then asks what God did, showing that God continued to deal with Israel according to His purposes.
