What happens to a person's relationship with Scripture when they are genuinely saved?

When genuinely saved, a person cannot exhaust what is in Scripture; they just can't get enough of it. They begin to mind the things of the Spirit rather than the things of the world and old Adam. This is exactly how Scripture wants it to be.

Les explains that when people believe the gospel and are genuinely saved, they cannot exhaust what is in this book. They just can't get enough of it. That's as it should be, exactly the way Scripture wants it to be. They begin to mind the things of the Spirit rather than the things of the world and old Adam. He contrasts this with a carnal believer, one who is not Spirit-filled or Spirit-directed; such a person is a believer in the body of Christ, but his priorities are mixed up and he is still more in the flesh than in the Spirit. Normally, however, carnal refers to the lost individual still under old Adam's control, in the flesh, with nothing of eternal life, and to be carnally minded is death.
