How did Jesus create the universe and Adam?
As the Creator God of Genesis 1, Jesus Christ brought the universe into being by speaking. He is the One who spoke and the universe came into existence. By the same spoken word, He formed Adam, who came up out of the dust of the ground.
Les explains that this is something beyond human comprehension except through the eyes of faith: the Creator God Himself is Jesus Christ. He was the Creator of Genesis 1, the One who spoke and the universe came into being, and the One who spoke and Adam came up out of the dust of the ground. This same Jesus came in the likeness of sinful flesh to condemn sin and the old Adam in the flesh.
