Why is God not severe in condemning everyone born of Adam's race?

God is not severe in condemning everyone born of Adam's race because His grace is greater than Adam's offense. Through the free gift unto justification, He has made the way back for every human being without lifting a finger, restoring believers by a judicial decree.

Les explains that Paul is constantly hammering home the word justification, teaching that believers are justified by a judicial decree of the Almighty God Himself, so that since we believe the gospel, He can restore us back as Adam was before he fell. Les notes that we still sin, and that compensation is made by virtue of His advocacy at the Father's right hand, though that comes later. In Romans 5:17, Les points out, Paul argues that if by one man's offense—Adam—death reigned as king by one, much more the grace of God compensates for Adam's fall and is greater than anything Adam did. So although it seems God is severe in condemning everyone born out of Adam's race, He is not severe because He has made the way back for every human being without lifting a finger.
