Why was the Bible given to the human race?
The Bible was given to the human race so that people can get interested in reading and understanding it, come to a knowledge of salvation, and be brought back into fellowship with the Creator. Its central purpose is restoring that relationship.
Les explains that the Bible was given to the human race so that people can get interested in reading their Bible, understanding it, and hopefully come to a knowledge of salvation, because that is why this book is given—that we can be brought back into fellowship with the Creator. He also notes that he and his wife do this as laypeople, are not affiliated with any group, and simply want people to read and understand the Word.
