What is Satan's goal now that Israel has produced the Messiah?
Satan's goal is now to disrupt God's prophetic program by destroying the nation of Israel and wiping it off the scene. If Israel disappears, prophecy would be left hanging, and God's prophetic word could not be fulfilled. His thrust is to destroy them so Scripture's predictions cannot come to pass.

Since he could not stop Israel from producing the Messiah, he now has yet another goal: to disrupt God's prophetic program. If the nation of Israel should suddenly disappear from view, prophecy would be left hanging on a string and the book would be a lie. Therefore, the whole Satanic thrust against the nation of Israel is to destroy them, wipe them off the scene, so that God's prophetic word cannot be fulfilled. Les connects this to why Hitler turned against them and why the nations of the world even now constantly bombard that little nation with accusations. He also notes this does not make the Israeli government perfect; the Jew today is not perfect, just as much the son of Adam as anyone else, and their government is just as corrupt as any other.
