Why is the book of Romans ignored?
Scripture's basic book for today is ignored, and the only explanation offered is that it must be a satanic conspiracy. Romans is where understanding of God's tremendous plan of salvation must begin. For Gentiles, the Apostle Paul is the one to hear, as apostle of the Gentiles.
Les explains that Romans is one of the basic books of Scripture for us today, and he does not know why it is ignored like it is, except that it must be a satanic conspiracy of some sort. He stresses that Romans is where we have to begin in an understanding of God's tremendous plan of salvation. The Old Testament saints had salvation under a whole different set of circumstances, spiritual as well as physical, than we do. But for Gentiles not steeped in the Mosaic system, the Apostle Paul is the man we have to listen to. Paul, by inspiration, speaks to Gentiles as the apostle of the Gentiles.
