What is the reason Romans is ignored according to Les?
According to the teaching, Romans is ignored because of a satanic conspiracy. It is the foundational book for understanding God's plan of salvation, and the speaker does not know why it is neglected except that it must be this conspiracy. This neglect keeps people from the proper starting point.
Les explains that Romans is one of the basic books of Scripture for us today, and he does not know why it is ignored like it is, except that it must be a satanic conspiracy of some sort. The reason this matters is that Romans is where we have to begin in an understanding of God's tremendous plan of salvation. He notes that the Old Testament saints had salvation under a different set of circumstances, but for Gentiles, the Apostle Paul is the man we have to listen to, for Paul says he is the apostle of the Gentiles (Romans 11:13). So the neglect of Romans is spiritually significant because it obscures the very book that lays out salvation for us today.
