When is a person baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ?

A person is baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ at the moment of salvation, when they believe the Gospel. No unsaved person is baptized into that body, and this baptism occurs simultaneously with all attendant aspects of salvation, such as forgiveness, redemption, justification, and reconciliation.

Les teaches that the Bride of Christ is that consortium of all the believers of the Church Age, who have been placed into the body by the Holy Spirit. He points out that many church members may be unsaved, because churches cannot screen hearts, but into the body of Christ there are no unbelievers. No unsaved person ever is baptized by the Holy Spirit into the body of Christ. This baptism guarantees your eternal destiny, and it won't happen until you've believed the Gospel, with all the attendant aspects of salvation done at the same time—forgiven, redeemed, justified, translated, reconciled, and glorified. Les emphasizes that we take these by faith, and though the devil tries to cause doubt, we claim it.
