What happens to a believer the moment they are saved regarding the body of Christ?

At the moment of salvation, the Holy Spirit performs an invisible act and places every believer into the body of Christ, the Church Universal, which will one day be His Bride. This baptism by one Spirit unites all believers—Jew or Gentile, bond or free—regardless of nationality or status.

Les teaches from 1 Corinthians 12:12–13 that just as the human body is one and has many members, and all the members of that one body are one body, so also is Christ. This is another act of God that believers never felt and had no outside manifestation of; the only way to know it happened is because the Book says it did. By one Spirit, the Holy Spirit, all believers—not just the most elite or most spiritual, which is man’s idea—have been baptized into one body, that Church Universal, which includes believers from whatever corner of the globe they may be. Whether Jew or Gentile, whether bond or free, all have been made to drink into or partake of one Spirit. By the invisible act of the Holy Spirit, He places every believer, the moment they are saved, into this body of Christ, which will one day be His Bride. Les reminds us this is not talking in terms of sexuality but in terms of position.
