What do believers look for from heaven?
Believers look for the Savior, Jesus Christ, to come from heaven. Their citizenship is in heaven, and from that same heaven they await His soon appearing at the Rapture, when He will meet them in the air. This hope is taken by faith because the Word declares it.
Les explains that by faith believers know they are already citizens of Heaven, because that is what the book says. Their citizenship is in Heaven, and from that same Heaven they look for the Savior, who is coming for them at the Rapture. Les notes he has not talked about the Rapture in this program for almost 20 or 30 weeks, and suggests maybe the next taping will take a solid look at this next event on God's calendar. We do not know when it will be, but it feels like it cannot be too far into the future. It is the soon appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ to meet us in the air. This is taken by faith because the Word declares it. Believers have been translated out of the Kingdom of Darkness, out of the Kingdom of Satan and the curse and the old Adam, and are now members of the Kingdom located in glory. They are waiting for it to still come, and when Christ returns and sets up His Kingdom, they will be in it.
