Why is Paul called THE Apostle to the Gentiles rather than one of many apostles?

Paul is called THE Apostle to the Gentiles because he was uniquely called of God to that role, not merely one among many. Others follow his footsteps, yet Paul is the one to whom we must go for basic doctrines. He was separated to the Gospel of God.

Les teaches that Paul was uniquely called of God to be the Apostle of the Gentiles. He emphasizes that Paul is not one of many, but he is THE Apostle, although others are going to follow in his footsteps. Nevertheless, Paul is the one to whom we must go for our basic doctrines. In this context, Paul had been separated in verse 1 to the Gospel of God, which God had promised before by His prophets in the Holy Scriptures concerning His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, who is made of the seed of David according to the flesh. Les also connects the seed of David back to Genesis 3:15, the seed of the woman who would crush the head of the servant, and the scarlet thread of salvation that carries through Scripture, as well as the Abrahamic covenant in Genesis 12 and Paul in Galatians.
