Les Feldick Bible Study

What does Les say about theologians and the Greek text?

Theologians are described as taking the Greek text and twisting it out of shape to make it mean what they want it to mean. In contrast, the King James translators are trusted because they were about 200 and some years closer to the Greek than today's scholars.

Les explains that many theologians like to take the Greek and twist it all out of shape to make it mean what they want it to mean. He says they can do that, but he is not going to. Instead, he stays by what the translators did, because he feels the King James translators were about 200 and some years closer to the Greek than today's scholars. Granted they did not have computers, he still trusts the old King James translators and stays with it.
