Les Feldick Bible Study

What does Les say about the Word of God?

The Word of God is true, and believers must constantly stay in it. Staying in the Word guards against doubt and Satan's suggestions that something must be added. It affirms that salvation is by grace and faith, plus nothing—not law-keeping or circumcision.

Les teaches that Galatians constantly shows the difference between law and grace, confronting congregations in Galatia undermined by Judaizers who insisted you cannot be saved by grace alone but must keep the law and circumcision. Les warns that similar insidious things creep into believers' lives, producing doubt and questions like “have I believed enough?” Satan then suggests maybe you must do this or that. Therefore, Les says, we have to constantly stay in the Word, that it is true, and that it is by grace and faith, plus nothing. He also notes that Christ accomplished it and did not die in vain.
