When were Paul's letters written?
Paul's letters were not yet written during the early Acts period in the early 50s. His earliest letters, possibly Thessalonians or Corinthians, were written about 58; Romans about 60; Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians about 64; and Timothy and Titus about 66.
Les explains that during the book of Acts, in the early 50s, none of Paul's letters had been written yet. He suggests Paul's earliest letter was probably the Thessalonian letters or maybe Corinthians, and they were not written until about 58. Romans was written around 60, Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians around 64, and the Timothys and Titus around 66. Les emphasizes that all these events in Acts took place before Paul wrote his epistles, and that once he was inspired to write them, they became the Word of God.
