Why is the world deceived and falling for anything today?
The world is deceived because Satan, the master deceiver, is orchestrating the greatest deception ever to hit the human race. People fall for anything because they refuse to get into the Book and search for truth, while Satan infiltrates even the church, offering something less than the truth.
Les explains that Satan is the master deceiver and is doing a tremendous job, even inside the church. In Matthew 24, when the disciples asked Jesus about the signs of His coming and the end of the age, Jesus began with deception—"Beware, be not deceived." Les warns that the world is set up for the biggest deception ever to hit the human race, and people are falling for anything and everything because they refuse to get into the Book and search for the truth. He is not pointing at one group or congregation, but says Satan is infiltrating the church with everything but what it needs, giving people something less than the truth. Therefore, believers must warn people.
