Did Paul get his gospel from Peter and the Jerusalem apostles after his conversion?

He did not go back to check in with the twelve or ask Peter to fill him in from Peter's three years with the Lord and forty days after the resurrection. Paul had no contact with the twelve or Jerusalem leadership. Instead, he went from Damascus into Arabia, which Les associates with Mount Sinai.
