What is the Kingdom of God?
The Kingdom of God is the whole sphere of God's influence, extending to the outer reaches of space and encompassing all of heaven and all of earth. The Kingdom of Heaven is the narrower sphere of influence concerning the earthly kingdom, and it exists within the Kingdom of God.
Les explains that the Kingdom of God is the broadest sphere—God's influence reaches to the outer reaches of space and includes all heaven and all earth. The Kingdom of Heaven, by contrast, concerns the earthly kingdom and is contained within the Kingdom of God. He illustrates this relationship by saying the Kingdom of Heaven is within the Kingdom of God like Oklahoma is within the United States of America.
