What is the Kingdom of Heaven?
The Kingdom of Heaven is the sphere of influence concerning the earthly kingdom. It is within the Kingdom of God, which is the whole sphere of God’s influence extending to the outer reaches of space, all heaven, and all earth. The Kingdom of Heaven is therefore a narrower sphere within God’s broader influence.
Les explains that the Kingdom of God is the whole sphere of God’s influence, reaching to the outer reaches of space, all heaven, and all earth. The Kingdom of Heaven, by contrast, is the sphere of influence concerning the earthly kingdom. He illustrates that the Kingdom of Heaven is within the Kingdom of God, like Oklahoma is within the United States of America. The passage also notes Philip preached things concerning the kingdom.
