Why is the Abrahamic Covenant so important for understanding the Bible?

The Abrahamic Covenant is crucial because, according to the teaching, unless you understand it, you will never understand the Bible or even the New Testament. God's promise to Abraham, whom He called out of idolatry, serves as the foundational framework for all Scripture.

Les explains that the Abrahamic Covenant is the promise God made to Abraham, who came from the line of Shem about 200 years after the Tower of Babel, around 2000 B.C. Les maintains that unless you understand this covenant, you will never understand the Bible or even the New Testament. He notes that God called Abraham out of idolatry, in which his family and the whole human race were steeped. This covenant is therefore presented as the key that unlocks all Scripture.
