According to Psalm 2, who rejected and killed Jesus?

Psalm 2 foretells that Jew and Gentile together would reject Jesus and put Him to death. The Jews precipitated and demanded His death, while Rome carried it out, so both Jew and Gentile are implicated in the rejection and crucifixion.

Les explains that Peter points the finger at Israel, saying the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob glorified His Son Jesus, whom they delivered up. But Les is careful not to imply only the Jew brought about His death. The Jew precipitated and demanded it, while Rome carried it out. Psalm 2 forecasts that Jew and Gentile together would reject Him and put Him to death. Jesus had also told the Twelve He would be beaten and scourged by Gentiles, so both are involved.
