According to Psalm 2, who rejected and put Jesus to death?

According to Psalm 2, both Jew and Gentile together rejected Jesus and put Him to death. The Jews precipitated and demanded His death, while Rome, representing the Gentiles, carried it out. This fulfilled Psalm 2's prophecy of combined rejection.

Les teaches that Psalm 2 foretold that Jew and Gentile together would reject Him and put Him to death. Peter, addressing Israel, lays the blame on Israel because the Jews precipitated and demanded His death, but Rome carried it out. So when Peter points the finger at Israel, the Gentiles' part is not taken away at all. Both are guilty, exactly as Psalm 2 predicted.
