Les Feldick Bible Study

Are the Christian denominations in America united?

No. The context states there are over a thousand denominations in America alone, and one can just about bet that none of them agree with the other. This produces widespread confusion, with different groups and teachers saying different things, leaving people asking whom to believe.

Les explains that this confusion is one of the enemy's tactics because he knows he only has three and a half years left and is pulling all the stops, including a confusion of the Scriptures. Les points out that there are over a thousand denominations in America alone, and you can just about bet that none of them agree with the other. One group says this, another group says that, and then another fellow says something else, so people ask who they are going to believe. Les says the only thing you can do is get into the Book. He does not tell people to go by what he says, and he does not intend to build a following; he just wants to help people see what the Word really says. He then directs attention to Acts chapter 1, verse 8, where the Lord says they shall receive power after the Holy Spirit comes upon them, and they shall be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth.
