Will God still fulfill the signs for Israel after her rejection?
Yes. Though Israel's near-term rejection and falling away from her prospects is indicated, God will still fulfill all the sign aspects of His dealing with Israel in the long term. Zechariah 13:1 promises a fountain opened to cleanse and forgive, bringing Israel into kingdom glory.
Les explains that all the sign aspects surrounding the blind man in John 9 were directed to the nation of Israel, indicating her near-term rejection and falling away from all her prospects. Yet in the long term, God is still going to fulfill every one of those sign aspects in His dealing with Israel. Les points to Zechariah 13:1, where in that day when the Lord finally sets up His kingdom and Israel has all the promises fulfilled, a fountain will be opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for sin and uncleanness. God will cleanse them, forgive them, and bring them into all the glory of the kingdom. But as yet, they remain out there in their spiritual blindness.
