How close is the believer's position to God?
The believer's life is hid with Christ in God, and since Christ is in God, the believer's position is in God. This is as close as it can get; the believer is fully hidden and identified with Christ in God. Nothing is tighter than that union.
Les explains that the believer is dead to the old life, and their life is hid with Christ in God. He asks where Christ is—in God—and concludes you cannot get it any tighter than that; that is our position. So the believer's position is as close to God as possible, hidden and secure in Christ, who is in God.
Colossians 3:3
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.
