Les Feldick Bible Study

Why do people attend Les's weeknight Bible class?

People attend the weeknight Bible class because they love the Book and are hungry for the Word, not because they want to hear the teacher. Since there is no loyalty to a local organization such as a church, their weeknight attendance shows genuine hunger. When believers get into the Book, fellowship naturally results.

Les explains that a man told him there was sweeter fellowship in that college classroom than he had ever enjoyed even in his own church. The man loved his church and pastor, but said they did not have the fellowship present in those classes. Les likes to think this is because a weeknight class has no loyalty to a local organization such as a church. If people come out on a weeknight, it is because they love the Book, not because they want to hear him; they are hungry for the Word. When believers get into the Book, fellowship follows as part of it. So they encourage people in the area to join the weeknight classes because they have a good time.
