Les Feldick Bible Study

Why does Les prefer to teach small Bible study groups?

He prefers teaching small groups because he is not hung up on numbers. He would rather have fifteen people who are hungry and want to learn than a thousand who merely want to be entertained. He is content with small classes and tells others not to worry about enlarging them.

Les explains that he has always been content to teach small groups. When asked why he was not reaching more than the 40 or 50 people who came to his classes, he said that this was all he ever expected. He tells people who try to enlarge a class not to worry about numbers, because he is not hung up on numbers. His preference is to have 15 people who are hungry and want to learn rather than 1,000 people who merely want to be entertained. That remains his whole concept, and whether the television audience is large or small is beside the point.
