What happens to the temple sacrifices at the midpoint of the tribulation?

At the midpoint of the seven-year period, the Antichrist causes the sacrifice and oblation to stop. He commands that all sacrificial worship and all temple worship of Israel come to an end, then causes an abomination and makes the temple desolate.

Les explains that once the man signs the seven-year treaty with Israel, God’s clock kicks back in gear. In the middle of the week, the one called the Antichrist will cause the sacrifice and oblation to stop. Since sacrifices and oblations could be offered only at the temple, a temple must exist. The Antichrist will command that all sacrificial worship and all temple worship of Israel end, and then he will cause an abomination, the overspreading of abominations, making the temple desolate.
