Will Israel still have temple worship during the tribulation?
Yes. Scripture indicates that during the tribulation, even after Israel realizes it is not in the utopia it expected, the nation is still permitted to continue its temple worship. This occurs after the opening events of Revelation, before the midpoint, when the Antichrist, war, famine, and pestilence unfold.
Les explains that at the very beginning of the tribulation, God sends two witnesses to the nation of Israel in the area of Jerusalem, and out of their preaching the 144,000 young Jewish men are sealed and commissioned to carry the gospel of the kingdom — the good news that the King is coming — around the world. Shortly after, per Revelation chapter 6, the white horse depicts the Antichrist, and the red horse is likened to a great Russian invasion from the north, which precipitates war, famine, disease, and pestilence pictured by the other horsemen. Then, as Les puts it, all of a sudden Israel begins to realize they are not in the utopia they thought they were, but they are still permitted to have their temple worship. That continues until the war, famine, and pestilence bring the world to the midpoint, when another series of events takes place, including the death of those two witnesses.
