Did Jesus say people no longer had to keep temple worship and the commandments?

No. In His earthly ministry, Jesus did not say people no longer had to keep temple worship and the commandments. He consistently operated under the law, telling healed lepers to present themselves to the priests and telling the rich young ruler to keep the commandments.

Les teaches that during Christ's earthly ministry there is nothing of the church and no church language; it is all Christ dealing under the law with the Jew under the law. He points out that not a word is said about no longer keeping temple worship or the commandments. For example, when Jesus healed lepers, He told them to present themselves to the priests because the law demanded it. When the rich young ruler asked what to do to inherit eternal life, Jesus answered, "Keep the commandments." Even in the early chapters of Acts, the twelve apostles were still meeting at the temple for prayer, and no one had told them they were not under the law. The law was still in force, and Les says never lose sight of that.
