When did Peter write his little epistles?

Peter wrote his epistles toward the end of his life, shortly before his martyrdom and just before the temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. This places their writing in the mid-to-late 60s, after Paul had written his earlier letters and around the time Paul wrote Timothy and Titus.

Les explains that Peter wrote his little epistles toward the end of his life, just shortly before he was martyred. In the chronology Les gives, Christ was crucified about 29 A.D., Stephen was martyred about 36 A.D., Saul was converted about 37 A.D., and Peter went to the house of Cornelius about 38 A.D. Paul wrote Romans about 60 A.D., then Ephesians, Philippians, and Colossians about 64-65 A.D., and Timothy and Titus about 67 A.D. just before his martyrdom. Peter likewise wrote shortly before his own martyrdom, just before the temple was destroyed by the Romans in 70 A.D. Les notes that Peter, like James, wrote primarily to the Jews, to the nation of Israel.
