When does God speak in wrath to the nations?
Scripture teaches that when the nations reach a point of perplexity, then He shall speak to them in wrath. This wrath is the opposite of love, mercy, and grace. He speaks to Jew and Gentile in His wrath, vexing them in His sore displeasure, which is the Tribulation.
Les explains that the verse says “then,” when they have reached that point of perplexity—the word Jesus used in Luke 21—He shall speak to them in wrath. That is not love, mercy, and grace, because wrath is the opposite. He will speak unto the nations, Jew and Gentile, in His wrath and vex them in His sore displeasure. Les identifies this as the Tribulation. He also notes a Jewish caller said the rabbis are convinced they are right at the coming of the Messiah, but they differ on the Tribulation, expecting it to be a relatively short, terrible period for the Jew rather than seven years.
