Les Feldick Bible Study

When will God speak to the nations and Israel in wrath?

God will speak to the nations and Israel in wrath after they rejected and crucified the Messiah, during the final seven years of tribulation. This wrath and sore displeasure precede the next event: God setting His King on the holy hill of Zion in Jerusalem, where Christ will rule in His thousand-year reign.

Les explains that after the nations and Israel took counsel against the Lord and His Anointed, they rejected His offer to be King and crucified Him. God, who sits in the heavens, laughs at mankind's foolishness. Then, as verse 5 indicates, after they killed the Messiah, God will speak unto the nations of the world as well as Israel in His wrath. This is the prophecy concerning the final seven years of tribulation: He shall speak unto them His wrath and vex them in His sore displeasure. The next event is that God has set His King on the holy hill of Zion, which is Jerusalem, just south of the Temple Mount. From Zion, Christ will rule in His thousand-year reign.

Psalms 2:5

Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
