What kind of ruler will the coming King be?

The coming King will be a benevolent monarch, not a despot or totalitarian ruler. He reigns as King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and His government will not be a democracy. His kingdom is described as righteous, fair, and glorious, flowing from the royal line promised through Abraham and David.

Les teaches that David becomes the beginning of that royal family, which will lead not only through generations of this existence but all the way into eternity. Out of the line of Abraham and David would come this government, but it is not a democracy; it is a monarchy ruled by the King of Kings, Lord of Lords. He will not be a despot or totalitarianist; He will be benevolent. His kingdom will be righteous, fair, and glorious. This prospect was laid out in the Abrahamic covenant, and the rest of the Old Testament rests on it. God also made covenants with Moses and Israel, and promised David a royal family leading up to the King, which is the government.
