In the eternal state, will God's people be the head or the tail?

In the eternal state, God's people—specifically the nation of Israel—will be the head, not the tail. Israel will continue to enjoy preeminence as she did during the Millennium, and the promises to Israel carry into eternity, placing her at the top rather than the bottom.

Les explains that since nations are listed in Revelation, the nation of Israel will continue to enjoy her place of preeminence as she did during the Millennium. In the Millennium she will be the greatest nation, not borrowing but lending, not the tail but the head, not at the bottom of the totem pole but at the top. That carries all the way into the eternal state. He points to 2 Samuel chapter 7, where God promises David that He will establish the throne of Solomon's kingdom forever, showing the kingdom promise to Israel goes on into eternity. So in eternity, God's people, Israel, will be the head, not the tail.
