What kind of body will we have in the eternal state?
In the eternal state, believers will no longer be flesh and blood but will have a body of flesh and bone, with life now residing in the Spirit. This contrasts with the present mortal body and reflects the life-giving work of the Holy Spirit.
Les teaches that when we enter the eternal state, we will no longer be flesh and blood, but we will be flesh and bone, and our life will now be in the Spirit. He contrasts this with the law, which can only condemn and kill, whereas the Spirit gives life. The same Spirit is the power from on high, the Holy Spirit, who gives life. He notes this connects to his earlier resurrection study in 1 Corinthians chapter 15.
