What will the nations be like in the eternal state?
In the eternal state, the nations will continue under the same arrangement as the millennium: Israel as head of the nations, with Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords. The curse will be gone, and God and the Lamb will dwell on the throne, while believers from all ages serve Him and see His face.
Les teaches that the millennial economy will go right on into the eternal state, not end after a thousand years. In Revelation 22, the nations are still present with the same setup as the millennium: Israel as the head of the nations, and Christ as the King of kings and Lord of lords. There will be no more curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, with God at the very center. His servants, the believers from the ages, will serve Him and see His face. Les notes that God is eternal Spirit, so we should not try to put a face on God.
